About
I have been stitching for about 12 years now. I am a member of the Town Clock Stitchers of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
I find that blogging the progress of my cross stitch (and other needlework) is a good motivator and helps me keep track of how long I have been working on a piece.

Hi! i am new to the province from BC and was a member of my local guild. I am interested in The Town Clock Stitchers but there is no contact name on the site. Could you help me get connected/give me some information re the Guild? Thanks, Lesley

I’ve been walking your blog, and admiring your stitching talents. I have also been to Halifax and my husband and I enjoyed our days in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. What a beautiful place to live. We often talk of that two-week vacation. We’re in Florida now.
I feel there are more needleworkers in the north than the south. Knitting is an obvious one because few people wear sweaters, etc. But handwork like needlepoint and embroidery is conspicuously absent as well, and I long to return to a four-season life someday.
In the meantime, I just snorkel the Net for motivation and inspiration from others far away. You have a nice site. (Sorry I missed your “clean house.”) I’ll be back. Thanks for sharing. Patsye
