Last weekend I had a two day workshop with Tanja Berlin. She taught needlepainting. I was looking forward to learning and am pleased to say it was easier than I thought it would be. I really enjoy needlepainting and will probably do more in the future.
Here are progress pictures of my rose:

Tanja Berlin is teaching at our guild this weekend. Two different needlepainting designs. Beginners are doing the Wild Rose and the Intermediate design is the Iris. I’ve never done needlepainting so I’ll be starting with the rose. I think that Tanja is going to be teaching in Saint John’s, Newfoundland next week. I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve been wanting to try needlepainting for a while, I even got the A-Z of Needlepainting but didn’t want to jump into it without some supervision. I’ll definitely have pictures of my rose (in various stages of un-finish) by Sunday evening.
