In February 2013 I went down to Williamsburg, Virginia for a stitching retreat. I have had all of the stitching done for a while now but I hadn’t completed the finishing. I had the needle book done in 2014 but it was only this weekend that I finished the scissors case and the floss purse. I’ve never been great at mitred corners but I think these ones are pretty good.
In February of 2013 I went to Williamsburg for a stitching retreat. I took a class from Barbara Jackson called “Sweet Heart of Mine”. I finished the stitching for the main piece, the floss purse, and the stitching for the needle book. There is a scissors case that I haven’t started yet. Over the past week my guild had its display at Scott Manor House and we featured a UFO (Un-Finished Objects) table. I had a few projects on the table and Sweet Heart of Mine was one of them. It got me to thinking. Today was the last day for our display and I got my stuff back. When I got home I hauled out the project and picked the needle book to finish because it is 2″ wide and less than 2″ high. Here is the picture of the stitching I’ve done on the floss purse.
Here are the pictures of the finished needle book.
